So, you’ve been playing Hay Day for a while now and have gotten the hang of it. Your farm is thriving, your machines are humming, and you’ve unlocked some fantastic items. But if there’s one thing that can take your Hay Day experience to the next level, it’s joining an active neighbourhood.

Neighbourhoods are the best way to make new friends, get help from more experienced players, and work together on events. The only tricky part is finding the right neighbourhood for you, but don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. By the end of this article, you’ll know exactly how to search for neighbourhoods, find one that matches your playing style, and make a great first impression to get accepted.

How do you find your Neighbourhood on Hay Day?

Participating in a community in Hay Day can completely alter your experience of the game. It opens up opportunities for social interaction, cooperation, and competition. You’ll need to consider a few factors to find the right neighbourhood.

First, take note of your XP level. To create your neighbourhood, you’ll need to reach level 10. If you want to join an existing one, you must hit level 18. Your journey begins when you repair the house across the street from your driveway, which becomes your Neighborhood house. This is your hub for all things neighborhood-related.

Joining a neighbourhood is more than just proximity; it’s about shared goals and interests. Consider what type of neighbourhood suits you best. If you want an open-door policy, opt for “Anyone can join.” For more control, choose “Request only,” where you approve or deny requests. And if you prefer exclusivity, “Invite only” is your choice. Joining or creating a neighbourhood costs 500 coins, so be prepared to invest.
